about me? well, i’m you. and the person next to you. an ordinary citizen of india dreaming of a better way of life – without corruption, without pollution, without poverty. i dream of decency and mutual respect in everyday life, i hope for sensitivity and common courtesy between all those i come in contact with. i expect and extend equality in my thought and action towards men and women alike. i yearn for peace and harmony.
i yearn for everything a god fearing (whichever god you choose), human loving person would yearn for – for his and her self, for his family, for his friends, for his community, for his country, for his planet.
do i have political leanings? no. but i am a consumerist capitalist. i believe in free trade and free markets. i believe in competition. i believe in freedom of choice. i believe in freedom of speech. i believe in democracy. i believe in a free world. i believe india has the mind and the heart to be all that i would like it to be.
it’s an uphill task, so i’m climbing already. trying to rise up above the nonsense that surrounds us. i am climbing on all fours. i hope you are too.
